FIXED LIGHT ON NORTH POINT.

HE Government of Prince Edward Island has given Notice that a lighthas recently been established on North Point being the Northern extremity of that Island. The light is afisrul white light, 80 feet above the sea, and visible in clear weather at a distance of about 14 miles. The tower stands in lat. ‘17 deg. 3 min. 41; sec. N., long.
