I'. for New Ross, pre- sided. ’Vurious “deputations” lrom different parts of the kingdom, loaded with contributions, wore presented. Among these figured Manchester with £325, \Viuerford with £107, Ltyidoti with £75 165. 1th; and Scotland sent £134. The “ rent” of the week amounted altogether to £3,178. The Address front the Corporation ofthe city of Dublin, in behalfof Mr. O’Connell, was presented to Her Majesty on 'WednesdoyJune 19th, at Buckingham Palace, by a deputa- tion consisting of'the Lord Mayor and a number ofntembers of the Council and corporate otficers. Her Majesty received the address, seated oti the Throne, Prince Albert standing {by her side, and the Duke of Wellington oti her right. Sir Lliobert Peel and other members of Government were also present. The Queen returned a gracious answer to the ud- dress, expressing her thanks for the loyal sentiments which it contained, and, in reference to the object ofthe deputation, assuring them that any Just ground ol‘complaint would be duly investigated by the ordinary courts of public justice. His Lordship then advanced, and kneeling before the Queen, presented the address to Her Majesty. The seconder of the address had then the honour ot'being presented to Her Ma- jesty.
