PEI DIVISION- CANADIAN HEART FOUNDATION

"CPR Workshop set for Sat- urday, February 5 in Char— lottetown."

The PEI Division of the Canadian Heart Foundation is offering a four hour workshop in cardiopulmonary resuscit— ation on Saturday, Fdaruary 5 in the Lower Foyer, Confeder- ation Center of the Arts in Charlottetown.

Beginning at 9 a.m., the workshop teachesbasic C.P.R. and related life saving meth- ods for heart attack victims and choking victims.

The workshop is just one of a series held throughout the year across Prince Edw— ard Island. $6,500. Grant awarded to UPEI

The University has been awarded $6,500 under the Management Excellence in Small Business Program introduced by the federal government in June, 1982.

The $4,500 student scholarship and $2,000 course developnent grant to the University are among the first offered to Canadian university and community college business schools across the country the program. 'IWenty schools have received Dhnagenent Excellence in Small, Business Program (MESBP) funding totalling $210,000.

MESBP, which is administered by the Small Business Secretariat, is intended
