TENDERS FOR SEAL OIL.
Colonial Secretary’s Office, March 21, 1865.
“1 EPARATE SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Ofiice b until Tuesday, the 4th day of April next, at It! o’clock, noon, offering to supply the Government with pure PALE SEAL OIL, drawn from the catch of this present year, 1865, the same to be subjected to test for approval modality, and to be contained in sound, tight iron-bound, hardwood casks. and delivered, at the coat of the contractor, in the followi'g quantities, at the under- usined Light llouscs, on or before the lst day of July next en- suing, viz:—-
At Point Prim Light House, 250 gallons,
At Panmure Island Light llouse, 250 do At Cascumpec Light Ilouse, 80 do At Blockhouse Light House, 50 do At Fish Island Light House,
Richmond Bay, 100 do
Each tender is required to specify the price demanded per gal- lon, to be delivered as above, and to give the names of two re- lponsible persons as security for the performance of the terms. of the tender. Each tedeur to express on its cover, “ Tender for real Oil."

Ilorses, Cattle, Sheep, Calves, Swme, Gram, our, Meal and Vegetables, over and across GRAND RIVER SRRY, Lot 56, for a. period of THREE YEARS, in terms of the t 3d Will. 4th, cap. 8, for licensing and regulating Ferries. The Tenders must express the rate of Ferriage on the above, verally—Luggage, Flour, Meal, at per cwt., and Grain and egetables at per bushel—and give the names of two Securities illing to become bound for the performance of the service.

25th day of APRIL next, at 12 o'clock, noon, from any person 0' persons being willing to contract for the Ferry at UARDIGAN RIVER, for three years, from the 7th day of June next, in terms of the Act 3, \\ ill. 4, cap 8.
The Tender must express the rates of Ferriage demanded for Passengers. Ilorses, Cattle, Sheep, Calves, and Swuie; also for Vehicle, Luggage, per cwt., and Produco per bushel.
The names of two respectable persons, willing to become bound for the performance of the service, must accompany the Tender.

‘ IIEREAS it appears that divers persons in certain parts of'this Island have associated, or leagucd together.
for the purpose of counselling, aiding and assisting one
another in resisting the payment of certain Rents, which
they became legally bound to pay, as Tenants, on certain
Townships in this Island.
And whereas it has been brought to my notice that an Officer of the Law has recently been violently obstructed and prevented from discharging his duty by persons who have so combined as aforesaid. Now I have thought fit to issue this my Proclamation, warning all parties concerned in such unlawful combination that, in attempting to carry out such purposes, they do oppose themselves to Her Majesty and the Laws.
And I do command and enjoin all such persons immedi— ately to abstain from all such unlawful aSSociations.
And I do further command and enjoin all Magistrates. Sheriffs and other Ministers of the Law, and all Constables and Peace Officers, and all other loyal subjects of Her Majesty, to discourage, by every means in their power, such unlawful combination, and to give their prompt aid and assistance, when lawfully required, in opposing, preventing and resisting all pct-eons, whomsoever, who shall take part in any such unlawful combination, and in arresting and bringing to justice any such persons offending, or having offended as aforesaid .
And I do further solemnly warn all persons that it is my duty to see that the Law shall take its course, and that [ shall cause it to be obeyed and respected throughout the. Island.
Given under my hand and the Great Seal of this Island, at Charlottetown, in the said Island, this Twenty-second day of March, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five, and in the Twenty-eighth year of Her Majesty’s reign.
