Fishery Bulletin.

Hatirax, Aug. 24—Anticosti no bait or fishing of any kind at English Bay, but cod fishing reported good, and squid bait very plentiful at Fox Bay.

Quebec—-Cod fishing good at Thunder liver, fair at Moisie and Long Point. Launce good at three above mentioned stations, but unfavorable weather prevented all fishing opperations at all other points on coast.

P. E. Island—No fish taken any place owing to stormy weather.

Cape Bretun—Weather prevented fishing operations at all places excepting Arichat, where there was a fair catch of herring.

Nova Scotia—Fish of all kinds reported scarce excepting at Digby where there were good catches of hake bnd herring, fair of hadock, and a fewcod. A vessel arrived at Liverpool this week reports fish plentiful at West Bank.
