On Sunday, Dec. 12th, after e brief illness, Mr. Frederick W. "Reeves passed peacefully away at " his home iii Freetown. He was ‘60 years of age and was the son ‘of ilic lave Thomas Reeves and his wile Mary Sullivan.

The funeral on Tuesday was ‘largely’ attended. The services at the home and at tlie cliurcli were conducted by his pastor, Rev. J. W. A. Nicholson who delivered a comforting message to the bereav- ed. The hymns sung were: "The lord's My Shepherd." "Abide With Me“, and "Rock of Ages".

The love of the Archdeacon for the little ones of his flock was evi- denced by the large number of clii‘dren who attended the service.
