Coming from behind a five-point lead from the first gpme of the two gaine total-point eerie, Ray’: Millionaires won their way~into the I.P.I*‘.B.I.. finals when they whipped the Saint Dunstan’: ‘Un- iversity team by a score of H40 last night in a game played on the P. W. 0. floor before a large crowd of fans.

The money-men thereby won the two game series by a total count of 90-86. the saints having won the opener 46-41. The winners of the other semi-final bracket be- tween Army and B'Side. R.c.A.1". will tangle in the finals with the Millionaires.

The money-men did it the hard way; besides being five points down from the first game they ‘were trailing by a 23-18 count at the end of the first half. Earl Nichol- son and Stan stott provided the scoring punch for the winners with 15 points each. "Nick" was the bi: -man as he tallied 14 points in the final half and provided the win- ning margin for the Ray Keenan sponsored quintet.

Playing in the various rural rinks all over the Province before large, enthusiastic crowds of fans, some- times totalling up to the six and sev- en hundred mark,andom occasions even more, the various learns and leagues have been coming up with smart hockey and are doing much to develop the game within the borders of this. At the present time, mainly through the efforts of the Depart- ment of Physical Fitness, who have helped to organize the leagues and have dnnatedabeautifulirophvy for the finaiprcyincial winners, playoff competitions in county and sub- county play are going full tilt mt the moment. Play is narrowing down every day towards the final inter-County finals to declare a Provincial charnlpion for the right to meet the Intermediate ‘‘A'' winner; and decide a team to rep- resent the Province in Maritime Intermediate qhcmplcnsiup play.

Alli the nlavufir competitions in this group are of a home and home, total goal type of series. and there have been some close, rugged battles for top honors up to the present time. The Johnny Squareibriggs skipp- ed and of Charlottetown was the leading team at the,cnd of the opening day's play in the Prince Edward Island Junior curling Championships played at the char- iotteto-wn Ourlirg Club yesterday afternoon and evening. The rink had two wins and no losses in as many. matches played.

Of the six teams competing in the dolble-knockout play, four re- mained in the running. while the W. Jenkins rink of Sui.-nmerslde and the J. Fraser $i11ped rink of Montague were eliminated with
