Lonpon, June 1.—Details of the fight- ing at Taku are forwarded by tbe Exprers correspondent at Shanghai. The ships of the allied fleet consisted of the Yorktown, American; Algerian, British ; Altie, Gar- man ; Otago, Japanese ; and the Manda~ shur, Russian.

Loxpon, June 19.—Lord Salisbury was questioned in the House of Lords on the Chinese situation, and said he regretted he was unable to ealighten the House re- garding the state of affairs in Chiaa.
