The death of Mrs, Archibald MacDonald occurred early Monday morning. Dec. 6th. at her home on Constitution Street in Piotou. N. 5.. to which she had returned only the day'before from Aberdeen Hospital. New Glaqow, when she had been a patient for three weeks. she had been in failing health for about three months.

The former Mary Theresa Mac- Donald, she was born in Morcll. Prince Edward Island. on August 5. 1683, a daughter of the late Wallace and Virginia (D eLory) MacDonald. she came to Piotou in not and following her marriage continued to reside there. where she had" a wide circle of friends by whom she was held in high regard. she and Mr. MacDonald celebrated their 60th, wedding anniversary on Nov. 4th, 1963.

She was a devout memheryof Stella Maris Church and a charter member of the Pictou sub-division of the Catholic Women's League, Besides her husband she is sur- vlved by three sons and three daughters: Wallace.
