—T0 BE BURIED IN MONT- REAL-The body of sergt. S. M. Levine will be forwarded this morning to Montreal for burial there. Previous funeral arrange- ments had been made for a mill- tary funeral at Summerslde, where the late Sergt_ Levine had been statloned with the R. C. A. F. when he lost his life owing to his plane crashing off Point Prim last autumn. Word was received, how- ever. from relatives that they wished the body to be sent to Montreal. His mother is Mrs. Ida Sarah Levine of Outremount, P.

The arrival of 60 odd sirens, to be used as warning signals in forthcoming blackouts throughout the province, have arrived in the city, it was announced last night by Maj. W, H. Poole, vice-chair- man of the Civilian Defence Com- mittee, A_R.P. However, these will not be distributed until-the re- lays, a vital part of the control equipment of the sirens. reach here, These are expected daily.

Included in the sirens is a 5- horsepower one and four l-horse- power ones for Charlottetown; two l-llorsepower ones for Summer- slde: and the remainder are one- half-horsepower sirens to be dis- tributed throughout the province.

Major Poole said that, "lighting restrictions are being experiment- ed on for an emergency and also in the event of a permanent blackout being ordered" He stat- ed that these lighting restrictions would be published before the next practice blackout ls staged.
