The Abegilveits oi Charlottetown were defeated by the Cyrstals, Sum- merside sextette here tonight by a close score oi 2-1 after a. more or less listless 60 minutes of puck chas- ing which at times had seven hund- red fans on their toes from‘ period to period, until the final bell. A counter Was realized in every session, the Crystals scoring the opening goal, the Abeflweits tying thelscore in the sec- ond stanza only to be tamed be 2k in the middle half of the last pcri d.

Both teams appeared to be more o1’ less timid throughout the game with the Summerside clan showing the edge in offensive inside the blue line. The Abcgweits being content to test the opposing goalie at long range with the result that almost every shot was turned back with ease and prc- cision, The visiting aggregation had the majority ,ui direct shots on the net realizing 3B to 30 in the three periods.
