Red Cross Disaster Services Organized In Morell

A group of men who have com- pleted a First Aid Course recent- ly met for a supper meeting at McAdam's Restaurant in Morell on Monday evening November 21st.

Mr. J. Gorden MacDonald. Pro- vincial Chairman of Red Cross Disaster Services. Mr. J. B. Jay, Chairman of Morell Disaster Ser-' vices and Mrs. Harry Cudmore. Director of First Aid Services met with these First Aid workers who received the following Red Cross awards:

Standard First Aid Certificates: Mr. Everette Webster. Mr. Mar- shall Peters. Mr. Reginald Mc- Adam. Mr. Walter McAdam.

Standard Refresher Seals: Mr. Joseph Kelly, Mr. Bertram Me. Adam. Mr. Sydney Anderson. .Vir. Pius Mclnnis.

Mr. J. B. Jay presided at the larger meeting which was held in the hall later in the evening. He introduced Mr. MacDonald who re- viewed the purpose. organization and work of the Red Cross Disast- er Services. Rev. Eric Robin com- mended thls Red Cross Service in a brief talk. The organization of the Morell Disaster Services was Cflmpleled by the appointment of five committee chairmen and de- puty chairmen.
