That, however. is not the case. yes. even with a postponement of much of the week's aoitball sched- ule on account of show. there was more than examinations on the minds oi many students.

Mariedith MacDonald. and Guy Germain. performed in- dividually during the week. Their achievements. as those at the choral groups. were highly com- mendable. Bethany was the bus- iest oi all three. as she played numerous piano solos. participated in duets, and acted as accompan- ist for vocal solos. she excelled particularly in her piano solo of Canadian c o m p os e r Kenneth Peacock'a Bridal Suite. Probably the most creditable performance of all was given by Meriadith, Bcthany'a sister. in her piano solo or Chopin's waltz No. 9 in A Flat Major. with only one year oi iiriiotice, Marledith made n great showing aga' i stiff competition.
