Then Baxter, who was the owner of the courier company Steve and I worked for during the time between Alias and Sherriff, that helped us out enormously, was totally supportive and again a very special person. Steve and I, to make a long story short we wrote for 2 years, then brought a recording studio and financed it. He went out of his way to make sure that Steve and I could get every shot we could. The song is basically a thanks for coming into our lives. -

CIMN: I was reading in a magazine article that it was a year after Baxter died and a year later Sherriffs song "When I’m with You" went-number one. 5

Freddy: We used to go visit him in the hospital all the time and a week before he died Steve was in the hospital with him, and he took Steve aside and said that he didn’t have long in this world but if there’s anything I can do to kick-ass for you guys, I will. A year later to the week that he died, it went to number one for no reason, no band, no video, nothing.

CIMN: When I saw you in Summerside, I noticed there was a video camera set up and I was wondering what the purpose of this was.

Freddy: Well, that’s for the long rides on the bus. We study each show to critique ourselves to only get better. We see what we’re doing wrong and improve ourselves.
