MAJOR EXHIBITION OF WAR ART NOV»T ON DISPLAY IN GALLERY ‘ A major exhibitiOn of war,art by internationally acclaimed artist, Alex Colville, is currently on display at Confederation Centre Art Gallery and' Museum in Charlottetown. Famous today as a painter‘ of the "realist" school, Alex Colville's talents are recognized throughout Europe and North America. During his career as official war artist, he completed 126 works, including sketches, watercolors and oil paintings. These are now part of the Canadian War Museum's War Art Collection.
