Rev. Charles Cheverie, cou- sin of the groom. officiated at the double ring ceremony a n d celebrated the nuptial mass.
During the ceremony and the signing of the register. Mr. Joseph Coffin. Morell. was sol- oist. He was accompanied by the organist. Mr. Alex Mac- l.ean. The altar was adorned with baskets of multi-colored gladioli.
The bride. given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a street length gown of white peau- de-soie with long tapered sleev- es. Her shoulder length veil of tulle illusion fell from. a crown
peau-de-soie. She carried a white prayer book with a cas. cade of red roses.
Mrs. James Bentham. cousin of the bride, was the maid of honour and Miss Doreen Mac- Cormack. sister of the bride. was the bridesmaid. They were gowned in dresses of sapphire hue peau-de-soie with match- Ing headdresses and shoes and they carried noscgays of white and cerise mums to compli- ment their costumes.
The Winsome flower girl. Eli- sabeth Hennessey. wore a bouf- fant dress of cerise peau-de-soie with matching headband: and she carried a basket of sum- r~er flowers.
Mr. James Bentham. friend of the groom. was the bestman and the ushers were Mr. Kevin Liind. brother of the groom. and Mr. Vince MacCormack. broth- er of the bride.
The bride's mother wore an aquamarine silk organza over taffeta ensemble in a sheath style with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations.
