The d e a t h occurred P.E.I. Hospital on Nov. George William Coughlin. son of the late John and Amelia Coughlln in his 88th year. He was born in Elmsdale . Later on he went to Portland. Maine. On return he married his late wife Norah Ford who departed him nineteen years ago. They set. tied down in Inverness. P.E.I.. till four years ago he came to live in Charlottetown with h i a daughter. He was in ill health for two years although his death was a shock to m a n y friends and relations.

Public hearings covering the pllotage situation in the other two Atlantic prov- inces and elsewhere in Canada will also be held, the dates to be announced later.
