-Judges Say

More than 200 of the best oi Prince Edward Island's 1939 crop oi silver iox pelts were Judged at Summerside yesterday but who the winners were remained a secret un- ill identification tags are opened today. The pelts, entered in the second annual pelt show in the Province were cleaned. graded and judged here. Last night they were taken to Charlottetown where they go on public display until the show closcs F‘i'iday.

The quality of the pelts was "a- bove average." Mr. W. F. Burke. Provincial Pox Fieldman and one oi the judges declared last night. Co-judge irilh Burke was Mr. Georg? Callback pi Summcrside. Judge at the provincial live fox snow at Charlottetown for a num- ‘our of years.

More than fifty per cent oi the pelts judged yesterday were de- clared eligible for the Provincial Governments seal of quality.

All pelts entered in the show are standard silver fox pelts from Is- land ranches. No so called "freak pelts were shown. it was said.
