under and by virtue of an Act passed in the 14th year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intitulcd “An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways,” and of the Acts m amendment thereof, whereby we are commanded to enquire what damage or advantage will accrue to these persons who are interested in the lands through which a certain new road is intended to be made: Commencing at McAlc-er’s Road, on the east side of the Township boundary be- tween Lots 36 and 37, and running along the said east side of said boundary, to the' Fort Augustus Road; also from Clark’s Bridge nnd along John McKinnon’s scuth boundary line to the new road to Pisquid :ncW Bridge, and from-the east side of said Bridge to Jay's. Now we do hereby give Public Notice, to all parties, that we will commence the execution of said writ. by attending at the commencement of the said intended new road, on the 24th day of June next, at the hour of ten o’clock, in the forenoon, and from thence will proceed along the Said intended new line of road and complete the inquest according to law.
