lL. The sytem of wood lots in prairie town- ships shali be continued-—that is to say, home- stead settlers having no timber on their own lands, shall be permitted to purchase wood lots in area not exceeding 20 acres each, at a uniform rate of $5 per acre, to be paid in eash.

15. In every such transaction, it shall be absolutely conditional :

(a.) That the company or individual, as the case may be, sbali, in the case of lands outside of the said Canadian Pacific Railway belt, within three years of the date of the agree- ment with the Government, place two settlers on each of the odd-numbered sections, and
