Mr. Grant, missionary to Tr rinidad delivered the address. The audience was large and at- tentive, there being members of some of the other congregations of the city present. Four Presbyterian missionaries from the Maritime Provinces now labour amongst these Hindoos. The adultsare taught and have the gospel preached to them in the Hindostan language, the children are taught in the Mission schools }eth Hindostan and English. There are 24 schools, with about 1000 children. ‘The schools have a human- izing influence upon the parents, and secure, in many cases, a welcome to the missionary and his message.
