From seven until eleven they were again at home to their many friends and relatives who filled the bruise until eleven o'clock. During this time an address was read to them from their neighbors of Grand Tracadie by Mr. Eugene McDonald and a well filled purse presented to them by Mr. Regin- ald McDonald.

Assisting in serving the suelts were the daughter's and daughters- in-iaw, assisted by Mrs. Charlie Watts. Mrs. John W. McNabb pre- sided at the ten cups, Mrs. George McDonald cut the ices while Mrs. John F. Watts replenished. An- swerlng the door was Mrs. Lloyd Martin and Mrs. Russell Watts. Miss Marie Watts. granddaughter of the couple was in charge of the guest book.

JCAMERA CLUB MEETS-'I'he Montague Cunera Club held its regular meeting on Wednesday night at the home of Mr. Vic Pep- ler. The meeting was opened by the president followed by the min- utes of the last; meeting, which were approved as read. In the picture competition for the month of October, Judged by Mr. George Nicholson, the results were as fol- lows: 1. summer Peace by Joan Pepler; 2. Breakers by Vera Beck; 3. Nature shadows by Joan Mac- Donald. These pictures are to be displayed in Pepler's store win- dow. The competition for Novem- ber will be a. portrait. A most in- terest and instructive talk on to- cusing was then given by Mr. Arnold Wightman, which was ap- precisted by everyone in attend- ance. Our home was a happy home, one filled with love of God, of each other and of our neighbor. We recall too the occasions when you would scold us for some wrong- doing. at that time we thought you were unfair to us but now we know and realize it was for our own good and benefit and we thank you for it. Now most of us have our own homes and we hope that each of us will conduct his or her home in the way you have conducted yours. O'I'l'AWA (OP)-Federal officials said Friday there is a market in Canada for about 4,500,000 pounds of imported lamb annually, but they questioned whether the mar- ket could be expanded much be- yond that.

They commented on an Acukisnd dispatch quoting N. A. 'I'homson, general manager of Acukland Far- mers Freezing Company as saying New Zealand could sell Csnada up to 500,000 lamb carcasses annually.

A carcass weighs about 40 pounds, which would bring Mr. Thomson's estimate to 20,000,000 pounds. Officials here questioned whether the Canadian market could absorb that much.

The man, dressed in a ROK army uniform and carrying com- pleteuldentiflcatlon papers, want- e,d to ride with Psk from a Seoul airstrip to Pak's base near the old front lines.

About 30 miles out of Seoul the hitchhikers, sitting in the back seat of Psk's I;-19 liaison plane. attacked the pilot and threatened to kill him if he refused to fly to a North Korean field.

Pak threw his plane into a quick, steep turn. His passenger. thrown off balance. felt out of the plane and plummeted 500 feet to his death.

The ROK delence ministry, dis- closing the story Friday, said the hitchhiker had been identified as a 30-year-old Communist agent.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. (CF)- Anunziato Tripodi burst into tears when an Ontario Supreme Court jury found him guilty Friday of murder in comection with the strangling death of his wife July 27.

Tripodi said nothing when he was sentenced to be hanged Jan. 25. He said earlier his wife was unfaithful.

Police said Mrs. Domenica Tri- podi, 27, was found strangled two hours after her arrival from Italy with the children. Tripodi said in court he strangled the woman but said he did not know what he was doing.
