After the reception the bride and groom left on a honeymoon trip through the New Endland States.

For travelling the bride chose a powder blue suit with black and white accessories. Her cor- sage was pink car-nations.

Prior to her marriage the bride was tendered a shower by Saint Dunstan‘s Parish Sodality of which she was a member and a shower at the home of Miss Barbara Cronin where she re- ceived many beautiful gifts. ,

On their return the bride and groom were given a shower the Community at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hammill, brother of the groom. -

The December meeting of the Cornwall Women’s Institute, met at the home of Mrs. Stanley Wil- lis, Monday evening, December first.

The meeting opened with Jingle Bells. The roll call was answered by twenty-two members, with membership fees and a card.

A discussion took place con - cerning the Shur-Gain Show at Clyde River, Dec. 12th. All mem- bers were asked to bring' five lunches. The reports were heard, from the different committees.

Motions were made to contri- bute, to the C. A. C., T. B. Lea- gue and the Tri-annual confer - ence in Scotland.

The annual Christmas party is to be held, Monday December 15th. at the home of Mrs. James Beer. Mrs. Dannie Gass, consent- ed to take charge of the Birth- day Box. '

The president, Mrs. Ford Wil- son, gave a very interesting re- port. on the Leadership course she attended.

The secretary was asked to in- quire, if the Handicraft Van would be available this winter. A
