ButI find ™ impossible to get baby’s carriage past the posts which bar the way to it, without lifting it over these —a troublesome ‘operation and dangerous for the baby, unless there is some one by to help me. Could not our Street Com- mittee, or the Mayor, or whoever it 1s, have the posts placed just far enough apavt to let baby carriages in. The’ corporation ought, I think, to have some care for the rising generation, and open the way to the best place in town for the cultivation of their eesthetic tastes.
