The Freetown Royals defeated the Wilmot Aces at Bedeque Rink in a regular South Shore League fixture Friday night by the score of 5-1. Edgar Taylor and Walter Campbell got a brace of goals apiece for the winners, and Des Roberts scored the other one. Strongman notched up the only Wilmot tally. Seven minor penal- ties were handed out by referees Allard and Simmons. four of them going to the victorious Freetown team. Mr. Andrew Jardine was appointed master of ceremonies. and suit- ably commented on the purpose of the "get together": after which Mr. Leeman Campbell read an address voicing the wish of the people for success and happiness to Mr. and Mrs. Reeves and fam- ily in their newly built home. and their new surroundings. This was followed by the presentation of a beautiful studio couch. The pre- sentation wss made by Messrs. Clarence Reeves and Walter Camp- bell to which Mr. and Mrs. Reeves fittingly responded. The remainder of the evening was enjoyably spent in music and dancing. The music being furnished by Miss Erma Reeves. Sidney Bigelow and Al- Refreshments were served by the ladies present.
