Le sermon de circonstauce a été prêché par le Rév. L. À. Pa- quet, D. D., un des orateurs sa- crés, les plus distivgais du diocèse.

Après la messe, S. G. Moa- seigneur Bégin a prété le’ ser- went de fidélité à l'église ca- tholique romaine, et a reçu le Pailiune.

Revêtu des insignes de la plénitude de sa juridiction, Sa. Grandeur a soienneilement béni son peuple,:t a pris ensuite place au 1irône pendant je chant du ‘Te Deurm.”

même diamètre, deux courtes bandes de même étoffs. Quand le cercle est vertical. ces bandes tombent perpendiculairement comme les deux génératrices du cylindre formé par la bande cir- culaire. Chaque bande est ter- minée par un appendice de soie noire qui contient anne feuille de plomb ou de zinc, pour donner uu peu de consistance à l'étoffe et l'empêcher de flotter. Le pal- lium porte 6 croix de taff:tas noir, 2 sur les appendices et 4 sur le cercle, 8 de ces croix ont 8 petits anneaux de soie pour y passer les éningles du pall'ium Celles.ci se disposant, cemme le dit du re:te expressément Inno- cent 11!.une sur la poitrine, june sur l'épanle gauche et une sur le dos.
