RULES and REGULATIONS

Any young lady 18 vears of age or_older, whether marriedor unmarried, residing in

Prince Edward Island, is eligible to enter the Contest, excepting employees of these newspapers or immediate members of their families.

The Guardian and Evening ‘Patriot reserve the right to decline or accept any person as a contestant without giving amy reason for doing so. Acknowledgment and accept- ance of enrolment poupans will be mailed immediately upon receipt of same at our office. .

Points can be obtained only by securing. new and renewed subscriptions for The Guardian -and“or—-Bwening: Patriot No- one- subscription: will be -accepted-for_aperiod” longer than two years,

Subscriptions will be accepted: for anywhere in the world..

All points earned for subscriptions may be withheld or published at the discretion ‘of the Contest Manager.

Each contestant must TURN IN ALL MONEY COLLECTED AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.

Points are not transferable from one contestant to another.

A list of contestants and number of points secured by each will be published from time to time during the length of the contest.

The contest proper opens on August 29th and all contestants should be enrolled by that time. Instructions and-receipt books will be delivered to each contestants as soon as entry fs received.

The papers guarantee fair tratment to all contestants, and should any question arise,

The Guardian and iieiitig Patriot reserve the right to amend. or add to the rules or disquality any contestant at any time during the contest for any reason deemed sufficient by the Tour Manager, These rights are reserved strictly for the purpose of maintaining goodwill, peace and friendship. among those.contestants who will-ulti- mately be chosen to participate tn the Washington tour. 6

In ‘fact, the ladies who show the greatest ingenuity in gathering -subscriptions..and organizing every possible means to help, will be the one oF wi nthe contest and enjoy one of the outstanding trips of a lifetime, at absolutely ne‘ cost.
