Prince Edrward Island is noted for its beautiful scenery, and in the above aerial photo of‘ Tyne Valley is shown one of these beauty spots. It is a very lovely drive through this fine village and espec- ialiy towards the Biological Sta- tion where l had the pleasure of visiting the other day, accompanied by Mr. Thomas Nesbitt. This sta- tion is a very interesting place to visit and, also a good Dlace to go if one likes oysters. in the lab- oratory we had the pleasure of meeting the staff. Miss Miller and Miss VanMarrian. who were busy at their typewriters and in an ad- joining room was Miss Wyman who was husy over a microscope. We hail a look through this microscope and

Miss Wyman again explained this to their visitors which was indeed in- teresting. Following this, Mr. Eng- land took us down to the packing house where we were treated to oysters and wharo Mr. Ellis was busy filling barrels for local mar- ket. 1t was a grand treat. and al- though it was a bit hard for us to

Following the ceremony the bri- dal party motored to the bride's home where breakfast was served. in the evening a bounteous supper was served to the many friends of the bride and groom. The large number of beautiful and useful gifts testified to the popularity of the young couple. Among the guests attending were the groom's parents, and nls sister and her hus- band from Quebec.
The following day, the happy couple left by motor for Si. John the Baptist. Qllfh. where a reception was held in their honou at the home of the groom's parents on Saturday night. Oct. 9.
They were accompanied by the bride's mother, Mrs. Angeline Blanchard, who will spend a short visit with them.
For travelling the bride wore a dress of wine moire with silver fox cape.
The young married couple will reside in Toronto where the groom holds a y-omlnent position with Canada Packers Ltd-Pius.
