Best dry Yeast. Let stand 10 mins., THEN stir well. Sift together twice, then into a bowl, 23% c. sifted all-purpose flour, 1, c. "granulated sugar, 1 tsp. salt and & tsp. grated nutmeg. Cut in finely 5 c. chilled shortening. Beat 2 eggs until thick .and light; stir into dissolved : Make a well in dry ingredients and add yeast. mixture; mix well, adding more flour, if necessary, te make a soft dough. Knead on floured board-until elastic. Place in yam bowl; grease top. Cover. rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk—about 114 hrs: Punch down dough; divide in half. Roll each half into a 9” circle. Place on greased cookie sheets. Brush with melted butter or Blue Bonnet Margarine. Cover. Let rise until doubled—about $0 mins. Bake in mod oven, 350°, 25 to 30 mins. Cool and spread with the following:

Remove from heat and work in 1% c. (about) sifted icing sugar— use enough sugar to make an icing of spreading consistency. Stir in % ¢ coarsely-chopped toasted, pecams and Y tsp. vanilla.
