The Synod met at 3 o'clock, and was duly constituted, prayer being offered by Rev. T. Cumming.

Rev. T. C. Jack submitted the report of the Committee on Sabbath Schools. It was a most carefully prepared report containing wnuch of more than ordinary interest to the church. Within the bounds of the Synod there are 27,000 scholars in the Sabbath
