At the Charlottetown Hospital on October 1st, 1958 the soul of Mrs. Edward J. Roach passed peacetully to its eternal reward. She had not been in robust health for quite some time but was able to carry on her house- hold activities until a fall in her home necessitated her entry to. the hospital, where all that was possible was done to ease her surf- fer-ing and bring about a recov-* cry, but Almighty God willed oth— erwise and her gentle soul was ushered into His presence.

She was a woman that felt her duty was in the home and that is Where she excelled. Love, hos— pitality, and good deeds were evi— dent there.

Born at Auburn in the year 1884, the daughter of Patrick Trainor and Catherine Kelly, she became the wife Of Edward J. Roach in the year 1020. They were blessed with two children, Catherine Mrs. .osep'h Quinn, and one son Frank, employed by the C.» N. and residing at home. _

The many friends of MIr. Roach and his son and daughter, tender their most sincere Sympathy in there days of sadness.

There are left to mourn besid- es her sorrow-mg husband and above mentioned children. One brother, Charles of Fall River, Mass, and four grandchildren to whom she so actfectionately min- istered.

The ﬂuneral which was largely attended was held on Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, where Solemn , Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rer. T. P. Butler, parish priest, with Rev. William Simpson as deacon and Rev. Dr. Louis Gallagher as sub-deacon.
