The Queen vs. Allan Macdonald, Jere miah Mahar, Francis Gormley and Angus McRae. Indictment for housebreaking and larceny. In this case the court al- lowed the prisoners to withdraw their plea of guitv and plead not guilty, owing to their extreme youth, and they were ac- cordingly tried tuis forenoon. The jury found them guilty of the charge, but not old enough to bave a guilty knowledge. This amounting to a verdict of not guilty the Chief Justice, after giving the boys some good advice and exacting from them a promise that they would behave better in future and aitend school regularly, dis- charged them, Attorney-General for the Crown,
