DIED. At Beile Creek, on the 11th instant, after a short but pxinful illness, which he bore patiently, Willie, second son of John and Mary Beaton, aged nine years, eight months and fifteen days. He was much beloved by all who knew him; and in the schoolroom, where hisconduct was unexceptional, won the love and confidence of his teacher and school- mates. A few ininutes previous to his death he bade his friends good bye, and said, ‘‘I am going home.” Lay him calmly down to sleep— He is weary, let him rest Whers the summer skies will weep Dewy tears above his breast.
