relating to the crops and grain markets in foreign countries. The Mark Lane Lxpress states that in England,Scotland, and Ireland ‘* ‘ine growing weather has been experienced

during the past week ; a higher tempera- ture has been accompanied by an abundant rainfall, which has refreshed the country and exercised a most beneficial effect upon the growing crops. After such a cold, dry May, it is not to be wondered at that the growth cereals is backward, but it is a matter for congratulation that the crops have not sutfered to anything like the extent that was at one time anticipated, the fields at present showing unmistakable signs of healthy vitality. At the beginning of the week a steady fall of rain occurred, which was pretiy general throughout the Kingdom, and the subsequent sunshine has materially improved the condition of cereals.
