This bird was mistakenly identified in the paper as a Chihuahuan Raven, a Magnificent Frigate Bird, and a Black Billed Magpie. A report was received a week later of a similarly marked bird at the East Point Lighthouse (SC via GM). While researching the sighting Ray Cooke was advised by Stu Tingley that a similarly marked bird was reported in New Brunswick but had not been checked as it was thought to be an albino raven.
