Francis Kelly, delivered, before a large and highly respectable audience a most instructive and entertain- ing lecture on the legendary and historic lore of Ireland. It is encouraging to see young men like Mr. Kelly such arduous sod zealousstuden tsof the fairy traditions—the old associations ef the Irish peasantry—the only property which the power of the spoiler has not been able to wrest from them ; and which has so often proved their only solace during the dark night of imperial oppression, which has so long overshadowed their own lovely land.
