FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU WROTE THIS STRANGE LETTER YOU HAVE LEFT ME AND MY "ANGLO WINNER" FRIENDS BAFFLED. YOUR IDEOLOGY HAS PROVEN NOTHING AND ANSWERED NO QUESTIONS, INSTEAD YOU HAVE SIMPLY PROVEN WHY IT IS SOME ENGLISH SPEAKING CANADIAN DISPISE THE FRENCH. YOU HAVE WRITTEN A WHOLE LOT ABOUT NOTHING. I don’t want to get into a pissing match here, but I must respond to the letter I recieved last week. Since I cnly said a few words about my selections for the Rolling Stones’ worst albums, I’d like one chance to defend my position then I'll shut-up.

I don’t want to insult you, Concerned Stones Freak, so if I say anything that seems insulting it’s ummtentional. Since you are a self-proclaimed "Stones Freak" I think maybe you don’t see the Stones for what they are. Ai of the albums | mentioned are junk in one way or

another.Flashpoint is a tired collection of

moldy oldies that offers nothing new. Hearing the Stones in their modern corporation (yes, corporation) incarnation singing "Factory Girl"

makes me want to puke. Emotional Rescue is a depressing Some Girls imitation. "She’s So Cold" may be better than most Top 40 shit, but who cares? Dirty Work is corporate rock in sound. Listen to "One Hit (To the Body)" or one of those other clunkers. This is one of your favorites? With so much great Stones product out there, I think you should wake up. I do like "Harlem Stuffle" (which they didn’t write), but "Had It With You" is just another Chuck Berry retread, and an uninspired one at that. Don’t idolize Keith as the "essence of rock n’ roll" or whatever legend might lead you to believe; he’s just a fogey who’s lost many a brain cell, and Jagger is one of the biggest fools in show
