Following the ceremony a re- ception for two hundred guests was held in the Canadian Le- gion Club. Clarenville which was suitably decorated. A four-tier wedding cake baked by the mo- ther of the bride centred th e bride's table. Toast to the bride was proposed by the Rev. Me- and was ably responded to by the groom. Several tele- grams were read.

After the reception. the young couple left by car for points of interest through the maritimes provinces. The bride chose for travelling a coral rose two piece suit with a white corsage and white accessories.

On their return. the youn g couple took 'up residence in Clarenville where the groom is presently stationed with the RCMP.
