instant, has been issued to us under and by virtue of an Act passed in the l-lth year of the reign ol'ller present Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled an Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways, and the Act in amendment thereof, whereby we are commanded to estimate the damage or advan- tage that may accrue to those persons who are interested iii the land through which a Certain new Road is intended to pass, leading lrom Saint Peter's Road to the Shipyard of Mr. Alexander Hayden : Now we do hereby give Public Notice to all persons concerned that we will commence the execution at the said Commission, by attending at the house of the said Alexander Hayden, in Township number Thirty-six. on Monday, the 26th day of August next. at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon of the said day, and proceed along the said intended new line of Road, and complete the said Commission according to law.

7 ‘IIE Commissioners for the recovery of Small Debts {or Somerset. Lot 27, have appointed Mr. Thomas McCaeril Clerk of said Court, in terms of the Act 23rd Vic. Cap. 1‘3. By order of the Commissioners. Somerset, July 22, 1867.

E John Archibald McDonald, of Glenaladale, Lot 36. in 9 Queens County, do make oath and say, that a {certain black Horse hath been for eighteen days last past, or there- abouts, in and upon my form and premises, and that I verily believe the said Horse hath strayed away from the owner thereof, and that I have several times driven the said horse on the highways at its liberty to pursue its course to its owner. but that the said horse hath returned to, and against my Will remains in and upon my said land and premises, and that the said horse is supposed to be the property of one Mc- Manaus.
