The ﬁlluek on (lie President—The Rich- mond Enquirer published a letter from a gentleman who witnessed the attack of Lieut. Randolph on the President,in which is the following moat singular paragraph :

Who is the Mr. Thomas that offers the stiletto so gracefully ? Such a bravo would be the chief of his caste in Venice. In our Opinion, the insult Offered by Thomas to the President of the United States, was in- ﬁnitely greater than that perpetrated by Randolph—U. S. Gazelle.
