LONDON, Dec, lit-British dross designers have turned back the pages of history for inspiration in the swing away from the severe tailored lines of recent years.

They have brought combined the frills and basqucs of the fashion plates of the late 60s, the bustles of the 80s and the balloon sleeves of the 90s. These designs were shown at the second of a series of manne- %uln parades sponsored by the

In the ballroom of the Mayfair Hotel, 1% models of spring and summer styles made of British rayon were shown at the rate of two a minute and these will be available for horns and export trade. The desire for silhouette lines was obtained by a rounded shoul- der-line and emphasis on the h!p- llne drapery, sometimes achieved by the use of padding or a bustle.
