IN MEMORIAM

GORDON M. DIXON

The sudden passing of Gordon Matthew Dixon, as the result of a car accident early Sunday morn- ing, July 6, 1958, came as a great shock to his many relatives and friends.

Gordon was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John H.B. Dixon of Dixon’s Mills, DeSalble. He was in his thirtydirst year. Be- sides his parents, he leaves .to mourn their great loss two Sis- ters and one brother: Dorothy (Mrs. George C. Bicknell) Fort William, Ontario; Marjorie l'MrS. Wyman J. Faulkner) Dedham, Mass; and MacKennie K. Dixon of DeSable; as well as a nephew, and five nieces. A sis- ter, Gladys, died in infancy.

The funeral service was held M Hampton United Church at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, and .was‘very largely attended. His pastor, Rev. M.K. Cliarman, con- ducted the service, assisted by Rev. A.S. Weir. DD. and Rev. J. Harvey Bishop. Mrs. Lorne Ferguson was organnlst' ' . _

The floral tributes were very lovely, an evidence of esteem and respect for one whose fine qualities endeared him to all who had the privul' age of hnomng‘ him.
