A Tracadie Cross farmer. W. F. MacDonald. lost a large new barn and two outbuildings Tues- day night. by fire which was by the severe electrical storm which hit the district.

The barn. built only last year. was destroyed with 900 bales of hay. some grain and other ma- terial. Two other smaller buildings were lost in the blaze.

The first blow from the storm blew out the light transformer (21 the nearby Tracadie Cross corner where the co-operative store is located and the second blew the end out of Mr. Mac- Donald's barn.
