Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE)
This is a country-wide organization that has recently expanded to PEI. It is an entre- preneurship club open to all interested students in any faculty and year of study. The next meeting of ACE is on Thursday, March 4 at 5PM in the Kelly Building. Business Society
The Business Society Annual Luncheon at the Delta Hotel is slated for March 12. Student tickets are available at the Business Society office in the Kelly Building for $25. The guest speaker is Michael Lee-Chin, the CEO, CIO and Chairman of AIC Ltd., President of Berkshire-TWC Financial Group Inc., and Chairman of the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica. The society also plans to go curling on March 19. There will also be two mini-luncheons during March with date and location TBA - watch for posters. The guest speaker of one for these is Kevin Murphy while the other is TBA.

Now in its tenth year, the program has grown consistently in popularity year over year; over 500 students from across the country participated in the 2003 program.
All entries are judged on the merit of innovative and workable Molitians along with a demonstration of commitment to community and leadership abili- ties. From the entries, 50 semi-finalists are chosen and invited to present their essays before an independent adjudication panel. From the 50, 10 finalists and an overall national winner are selected based upon their HOES to express new, solu- tion-driven ideas.

All winning student essays are published in a special book entitled @stake “As Prime Minister, I Would...”.
The Magna for Canada Scholarship Fund was founded in 1995 by Magna International Inc.. Its founders, Frank and Belinda Stronach established the pro- gram to empower students to express their solutions for building a better Canada. $1,000,000 has been placed in a charitable trust on behalf of the scholarship fund. The program is also sponsored by The Fair Enterprise Institute, a non-partisan and non-profit organization founded to provoke dialogue and debate and propose
innovative solutions to improve the living standards of Canadians.
