HEREAS the General Assembly of this Island

stands prorogued until Thursday, the TWenty- fifth day of‘ November, instant:

I have thought fit, by and with the advice of Her Majesty’s Executive Council, further to proroguc the said General Assembly, and the same is hereby pro- rogued until THURSDAY, the Thirtieth day of DE- CEMBER next, of which all persons concerned are required to take notice and govern themselves accord- ingly. .

‘ Given under my hand and the Great Seal of this Island, at Charlottetown. in the said Island, this Twenty- fourth day of November. in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, and in the thirty-third year of Her Majesty’s reign.

Crawford Shaw. of Cornwall, in the County of Queen’s. in Prince Edward Island. made to His Honor the Com. missioner in Insolvency, pursuant to “ The Unfortunate Debtors’ Act. 1868." I do. by His Honor’s directions, hereby appoint Saturday, the fifth day of March next, at the Court House. in Charlottetown, at eleven o’clOck in the forenoon, as the time and place for meeting of the creditors of the said Alex. Crawford Shaw, for the purpose o£ examining into the state of his affairs, and considering the terms of a compromise to be offered by him under the said Act.

NOTICE is hereby given to the Stockholders in this Bank, who are now in arrear for the payment of any Instalment. Balance. or portion of the last third part of the Capital Stock of said Bank, (which by the Act of the 31st Victoria,Chapter 17, intituled “ An Act to amend the Act incorporating the Summerside Bank." was required to be made on or before the lst day of January, 1869. but in respect to which the payment has been further extended by the Act of the 32nd Victoria. Chapter 23. intituled "An Act in further amendment of the Act incorporating the Summerside Bank”) that the respective balances or sums due by them on their shares in said Capital Stock, is now hereby finally called for, and payment thereofis required to be made to the Cashier of the Banking House of the said Bank in Sumo merside. on or before the thirtieth day of December next; and in default of such payment, an order will be made for the sale at the shares of such defaulting Stock- holders, pursuant to the Statute in that case provided, and the By-laws of said Bank. Charlottetown. would respectfully announce that he has purchased the Establishment known as the Half-way House, Vernon River. Being determined to keep up the good nam‘ of the House, and to improve upon it, by diligent at a tention to the wants and comforts of travellers, and it the arrangements and attendance of the House, as ale; in the liquors and tables, he would solicit a continuance of that liberal support for which he has had ample reason to return thanks.

Having also secured the carrying of Her Majesty’s Mails between CharlottetOWn and Georgetown, he bégs to intimate that all orders for passage and parcels. must be left at the Union House, Charlottetown.
