ROAD COMPENSATION ACT. PUBLIC NOTICE.

HEREAS a Commission has been issued, directed to the undersigned, whereby we are commanded to estimate the damage or advantage that will accrue to the parties through whose land a certain New line of Road is intended to pass, viz.— From the Road at Neil Shaw's farm, Cove Ilcad, Lot 34, to Angus McMullin’s farm, and from thence to the Gulf Shore.

Now we do hereby give Public Notice, to all parties concerned, that we will commence the execution of said Commission, by at- tending at the house of Mr. William Lawson, Cove Head, on M ON- DAY, the 28d July next, at the hour of 10 o’clock in the fore- noon of the same day, and will proceed along the said contemplated New line of Road, and execute said Commission according to law.

Road District, No. 5—King’s County. HE Subscriber will sell by public Auction, the repairs of the ltoads and Bridges in the above district, in the following order, to the lowest bidder:—

On Monday, the 25th day of June, ins .., at the hour of 10 o’clock, a. m., the repairs on the GlenCorrodale lload and Bridges, to commence at the Settlement and sell to the north side; same day, commence at Little lliver Bridge, to Priest Pond Bridge; same day, commence at the north end of Baltic Road, and sell to the south end; some day, commence at the south end of the Baltic Road, and sell to Clement Mcl‘hec's Bridge, including Anderson’s Road and Green Vale Road.

On Tuesday the 26th, at 7 o’clock, a. 111., will commence at~ the south end of the Baltic Road, and sell the road and bridges to the Cross Roads; same day will sell Portage Road and Bridges; same day,will commence at the north end of Mount lioad, and sell the road and bridges to the south end.

On Wednesday the 27th, at. 8 oclock, a. 111., will commence at the north end of the Baltic Road and sell the road and bridges, to the East Point, Cross ltoads.

Ample security will be required for the faithful performance of each contract.
