DUTCH SALAD

1 qt. green tomatoes

1 qt. cabbage

1 qt. onions

1 qt. cucumbers

1 qt. oaulit‘lowers

2 red peppers

Celery seed

Cover with brinerand let stand over night. '

Dressing

.1 cup lobster flaked

2 cups diced apple

1 cup diced celery

1/; cup shredded raw carrot

2 hard boiled eggs, chopped

1/2 tsp. salt

Grapes; cherries, and any oth- er fruit you would like to add>

Cut up fruit and add 1 cup sug- ar. Have ready the day before you want it. " , -

Add dressing to the above and mix thoroughly. ’

Dressing: —- yolk of one egg- beaten _

1/2 cup white sugar

Butter size .of an egg

V2 cup vinegar (white)

Cook until it creams in double boiler. Cool. You my add whip- ped'c-ream on top and a walnut if you wish.
