The Royal Bank of Canada will be opening a branch in Georgetown within four weeks, It has been announced by W. Earle McLaughlin, Msident

The announcement was made at a press conference held in connection with the meeting of the bank‘s Board of Directors.

Speaking of the economy of the Atlantic region Mr. McLau- ghlin said that there was “a re- surgence of optimism in the Maritimes."
