The Bishop of Nowa Scotia, Lolding his triennial visitation throughout Prince Edward Island, has male his first visit to the districts of Cascum- pee, Kildare and Tignish. There was Divine service at Casenmpec Cross Roads of Wednesday, the 4ttref July. The prayers were said by the Venerable the Archdeacon Head, D. D , and the leasons} y the Rev- W Dyer, Missionery of the District~after which bis Lordship delivered a mst excelleat sermon, which was patientiy listened to by « large and allentive congregation. After behaif of tie members of the Church of Engiand within this extensive mission, to which His Lordship gave a suitable and effective reply im- premptu. On the following d.v the Bishop proceeded to Tignish, where @ very neat chapel has been erected for the use of Episcopal and Presby- terian Cengregations. At this place a confirmation was held, when 44 persons received the holy rite. His Lordship addressed them on the subject, explaining the nature of the ordinance.
