The order, arrangement and general working of the whole affair did much credit to the energy and skill of the managing committee. The Lathes performed their part admirably—which. by the way. was by far the most impor- tant. The tables were tastefullY”l!|lp‘ plied with abundance of cdibics,-wliirii \vcrc iii every way calculated to satisfy the tastes and silence the murmur of the most fastidious. We never parteolt of a better tea at tiny public party.

The Homer was held in a 'building near the Church. The building was de- coveted Very tastefully. There were not so many articles on exhibition as we ex- pected to lind; but what were there was very nice. “'0 hope the Ladies who stoodbehiiid the counters, found ready sale for the fancy and useful articles dis- played. The Ladies of Malpcque who contributed to the Bazaar. may ,wcll be proud of their industry and skill."

A Refreshment table was opened in another building, under the cure of the iiitiiiaging committee. From it was sup- plicd temperate drinks and eatubles—in- eluding Wtth of McNutt's preserved lob- stcr.

The best of order prcvailed~ every body seemed satisfied—and well they might. The attendance was more than ordiiiarly large for such it gathering. The sum realized we have not heard, but it must be considerable. '
